Give the people around you a break.
You don’t know what their life looks like when nobody is watching. You don’t know what happened before they walked through that door. They may be fighting a marriage that’s falling apart, grieving someone they lost, struggling financially, worried about their children, or simply trying to hold themselves together for one more day.
That person who seems distant may be exhausted.
That person who didn’t smile may be hurting.
That person who made a mistake may already be beating themselves up more than you ever could.

Not everything needs your judgment.
Sometimes people just need a little grace.
You never know how heavy someone’s life is until you’re the one carrying it.
