WHAT DO I DO WHEN FEAR TAKES OVER?

Q: What does the Bible say when fear begins controlling my mind?

A: David gives us the answer:

“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” — Psalm 34:4 KJV

Notice what David did not say. He didn’t say there was nothing to fear. He didn’t say life suddenly became easy. He said, “I sought the LORD.”

Fear tells you to panic.
Fear tells you the worst is coming.
Fear keeps you awake fighting battles that haven’t even happened.

But faith tells you to seek God.

David took his fear to the One greater than everything he feared. And God heard him.

That doesn’t mean every problem disappears the moment you pray. It means fear no longer has to be your master. You can walk through uncertainty knowing you are not walking through it alone.

Q: What should I do when fear returns?

Seek Him again.

Pray again. Trust again. Open His Word again. Keep bringing your fears before God instead of allowing them to build a home inside your mind.

Fear may knock on the door—but you don’t have to let it live there.

Seek the Lord. He hears you.
