Where Courage Begins
Courage is not the absence of fear.
It’s the decision to stand…
even when fear is present.
But there is a deeper truth most people never think about.
Real courage doesn’t come from within us alone.
It comes from what we place above us.
The Bible says in Proverbs 9:10.
That word “fear” doesn’t mean terror.
It means reverence.
Respect.
Understanding who God truly is.
Because when you understand that…
something changes inside of you.
When you truly fear God…
you begin to fear everything else less.
The opinions of people lose their power.
The uncertainty of life loses its grip.
Even the unknown begins to feel different.
Because you realize something powerful:
The One who created everything…
is greater than anything you will ever face.
God has placed courage inside every one of us.
But it grows when we trust Him.
It strengthens when we live faithfully.
And it shows up in the moments that matter most.
When you walk with God…
you don’t become fearless.
You become anchored.
Steady.
Grounded.
Even when life shakes around you.
And maybe that’s what courage really is.
Not a loud moment.
Not a heroic act.
But a quiet confidence that says:
No matter what comes…
I am not facing it alone.
Because when your life is rooted in God…
fear no longer leads.
Faith does.
And when faith leads…
courage follows.
