Like a Child
There is something about a child’s love…
That the world forgets.
It’s pure.
Not calculated.
Not guarded.
Not based on what you can give in return.
A child doesn’t love you because of what you’ve accomplished…
or what you’ve built…
or what you can offer.
They love you…
Because you’re you.
No conditions.
No walls.
No hidden motives.
Just love.
And somewhere along the way…
We lose that.
Life teaches us to protect ourselves.
To be cautious.
To question intentions.
To love with limits instead of fullness.
We start holding back.
We start measuring.
We start loving based on what we get…
Instead of giving it freely.
But Jesus said something powerful…
Something that most people read…
But don’t fully understand.
“Let the little children come to Me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
— Matthew 19:14
Think about that.
The very thing that makes up Heaven…
Is the heart of a child.
Not power.
Not status.
Not success.
But purity.
Trust.
Love without condition.
And then He says something even deeper…
“Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
— Matthew 18:3
Become like them.
Not in knowledge…
but in heart.
Because children don’t overthink love.
They don’t hold grudges the way we do.
They don’t carry years of bitterness.
They don’t build walls so high that no one can get in.
They love quickly.
They forgive easily.
They trust deeply.
And maybe that’s the lesson…
Not to become childish…
But to return to something we lost.
A heart that still knows how to love…
Without fear.
Without pride.
Without conditions.
Because at the end of it all…
That’s what matters.
Not what you built.
Not what you gained.
But how you loved.
And the ones who understand that best…
Are the ones the world often overlooks.
Children.
Restored Life After
Love like a child.
Because that kind of love…
is what Heaven is made of.
