You can hide things from people. You can delete the message, erase the history, close the door, lie about what happened, and convince everyone around you that everything is fine. But there is one place you will never disappear from:

God’s sight.

He sees what happens in public and what happens in private. He knows the motive behind the action, the thought you never said out loud, the temptation you are fighting, and the sin you are trying to bury. Hebrews says, “All things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” — Hebrews 4:13

That should humble us, but it should also wake us up. Stop living two lives. Stop worrying more about getting caught than about being right with God. Nothing is truly hidden, and someday every secret will stand in the light.

Live like God is watching.

Because He is.
