Only God Knows
There is something about life that most people try not to think about…
The fact that one day… it ends.
Not when you plan it.
Not when you’re ready.
Not when everything is finally in place.
But at a moment only God knows.
Every breath you take… is not guaranteed.
Every morning you wake up… is not owed to you.
It is given.
And yet so many people live like they have forever.
Putting things off.
Holding back love.
Carrying fear.
Letting the weight of the world steal their hope… as if tomorrow is promised.
But here’s the truth…
Only God knows your last day.
Not your circumstances.
Not your struggles.
Not what people say about you.
Not even the thoughts that try to convince you it’s over.
As long as you are breathing…
You are not done.
Let that settle in.
The enemy will try to convince you that your situation defines you.
That what you’re going through is too much.
That your mistakes are too big.
That your future is already written.
But God says something different.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
— Proverbs 3:5
Because your understanding will fail you.
It will tell you to give up.
It will tell you there’s no way out.
It will tell you what you see right now… is all there is.
But God sees beyond what you see.
He sees what’s ahead.
He sees what’s possible.
He sees a future you can’t yet understand.
So don’t let anyone take your hope.
Not people.
Not circumstances.
Not even your own thoughts.
Because hope doesn’t come from what you see…
It comes from who you trust.
And if your trust is in God…
Then no situation is final.
No moment is the end.
No darkness is permanent.
Because as long as there is breath in your lungs…
There is still purpose in your life.
And when God says it’s over…
It will be over.
Not before.
