Most people think the devil’s greatest weapon is temptation.

It isn’t.

It’s distraction.

He doesn’t have to convince you to stop believing in God. He only has to convince you that you’ll have time for God… tomorrow.

Tomorrow you’ll pray.

Tomorrow you’ll open your Bible.

Tomorrow you’ll repair your marriage.

Tomorrow you’ll forgive.

Tomorrow you’ll chase the dream God placed in your heart.

Tomorrow you’ll become the man or woman God called you to be.

But tomorrow has stolen more souls than today ever has.

The enemy knows that a distracted life slowly becomes a distant life. Little by little, your priorities change. Your relationship with God grows cold. Your purpose fades. Before long, you’ve become busy doing everything… except the things that matter most.

The Bible warns us:

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
— 1 Peter 5:8

A lion doesn’t always chase the strongest animal.

It waits for the one that wanders away.

Don’t wander.

Guard your heart.

Protect your mind.

Stay in God’s Word.

Pray like your life depends on it.

Because it does.

Don’t let distraction steal the life God has called you to live.

The greatest battle for your soul isn’t always between good and evil.

Sometimes it’s between what matters most… and everything that’s pulling you away from it.

Walk with God. Stay awake. Stay focused.
